Amphibious Bodypainting

The Amphibious Bodypainting project “The Frog” was completed in the summer of 2015 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Bodypainting Inspiration

This project was inspired by the work of Italian based artist Johannes Stötter.  He created an amazing piece with a frog made up of five different people.  My friends that are familiar with my passion for bodypaint modeling send me links to this project continually.  In addition, I was raised in a traveling-reptile-show family, so I have seen my fair share of reptiles and amphibians and admire their amazing colors.

The Location

The project was done in my home in Biloxi, MS.  There is a creek running through the middle of the property that worked out well for the water shots.

The Artist

This project was painted by Zach Vega, a young man based in Biloxi, Mississippi.  Zach works in the advertising business and only paints for fun.  I was impressed at how quickly he worked.  This entire painting was finished in about 30 minutes time.  Zach also photographed the project.

Nude Bodypainting Photographs

There are also photos from this series in the nude section.
