Bodypainting – The Robot
The Robot Bodypainting was part of a collaboration for Tony Dortch’s “Pure”. Pure is a project where models get body painted to become characters of a comic book. Tony and his partner Michael travel to iconic cities around the globe initially shooting in video then finally post-producing the images into panels in the comic book series. I have also worked on location with Tony in San Diego, Washington DC, and marched in the Capital Pride Parade as part of award-winning contingent, The Living Rainbow.
My character was brought to life by Angela Rene Roberts. Angela is in the top 10 World Bodypainting Competition and the ONLY US contestant in the top 10. Angela is also the 2013 RAW national champion in addition to countless other awards. Angela is managed by Cully Firmin. Cully is a very talented photographer, model, and Director of both the Acadiana Models Guild & New Orleans Models Guild.
